Empowering Through Education & Financial Literacy:
By providing access to digital and in person financial literacy learning platforms, a significant part of our effort will be spent on teaching grade-level children the financial lessons and habits they need to thrive financially in adulthood. We will develop financial learning curriculums and deliver some of this directly to students in partnerships with school districts and other local organizations, including after-school programs, that cater directly to children in K-12. We will also partner with other nonprofits and other organizations working in this area.
We will deliver the content both digitally via website, social media and web and mobile applications, we will also participate directly, or indirectly in in-person financial literacy sessions in the communities within which we operate.
Additionally, we will sponsor and organize, directly and indirectly, college and apprenticeship/vocational preparation classes and curriculum for students from these communities who show a desire and/ or ability to pursue a higher education.
Also, we will support, financially and otherwise, the establishment of scholarship and/or savings programs to help offset some of the costs of a higher education for children within the communities we serve.
Activities to enroll participants in the program will include community events in collaboration with school districts and other local partners we collaborate with in the communities we serve
